Southern Cruisers Thomson Lake Show & Shine and Rod Run

August 2 - 3, 2025.

 

The Cruisers are once again taking our car show and rod run to the venue where it all started. That's right, we're going back to Thompson Lake Regional park! With camping and all the amenities available, this year's rod run will build on the overwhelming success of last year's event and should prove to once again be a blast.

Do you have a hot rod or special interest car of your own? Bring it out and enjoy a great August long weekend with others that share your passion for everything gear-head!

​

Registration begins Friday evening and continues on Saturday with the Poker Run and car show Saturday.  Socializing and festivities will continue into the wee hours.  The Southern Cruisers have booked the family reunion area of the park so there will be plenty of room for everyone and we, your hosts, will be camping there from Friday, August 2 until Monday August 5 so feel free to come early and stay late! The weather will be hot and the cars will be very, very cool so bring your own accommodations and camp for the weekend, for a night or simply come out and enjoy a beautiful August afternoon with this awesome family friendly event.

Camping not your thing? Accommodations are also available nearby in Assiniboia, Lafleche and Gravelbourg.

Fall Show & Shine

The Southern Cruisers will once again team up with Assiniboia Museum in 2025 to host our annual fall show & shine.  The turn out for this event on previous years has been amazing. The museum will be open for tours all day including the top notch automobile display.  Join us for a stroll down memory lane with classic cars, food and fun.

Possibility of too much fun?  Don't worry, Assiniboia has a number of top notch accommodations so you don't have to drive home.
